Misha Kahn

According to Astrology, Saturn returns to the same place in the sky every 27 years, making it the ideal time to review one's life. Now approaching 27, Misha Kahn is taking stock of his own life with Return of Saturn Coming of Age in the 21st Century, a freeform installation in Friedman Benda's Project Space.

With works ranging from pre-peeled wallpaper patterned with oranges to a twenty-foot wide woven mohair tapestry inspired by Jell-O-molds, Kahn says the objects are “meant to encourage comfort with one’s own mental chaos.”
